I love the way the city feels during football season, I know it is mostly a bandwaggon, but regardless - it is fun.

My first cruise was two years ago this past January. The ship left from Tampa. As you will no doubt recall, the Bucs were in the Super Bowl that year. The entire ship basically shut down for the Super Bowl. There was no on in the dining room. They were all eating box dinners in the theatre, so they could watch the game on the big screen. No one was in the bars...except the sports bar. No piano player in the piano bar. No disco music in the disco. If you were not into football, you were just shit outta luck. I will NEVER cruise during the Super Bowl again. Sorry Mrs. McG, I'm just not a sports fan. I liked the Rowdies back when they used to play soccer in Tampa. (Before your time.) Give me guys with good-lookin' legs running around in short shorts and I'm all over it. But football. Blech!
